90dB Festival Internazionale Arti Sonore
From the 11 to 14 September 2014, the suggestive spaces of the former Latina Paper Factory will host the second edition of 90dB – International Festival of Sound Art.
The festival is dedicated to sound art and digital art, with workshops and concerts daily from 4:00 p.m. to midnight. A broad and articulated programme or diversified proposals will be enhanced by interactive workstations allowing for a direct and physical relationship with the very notion of “sound”.
Visitors will be able to explore the contemporary world of art and music, or simply immerse themselves in this partially unexplored oasis in the heart of the Eternal City, ideal for a stroll in the park and for a pause in the shade of its trees.
90dB is also ideal for young people, with a dedicated workshop on the construction of musical instruments using recycled materials. A second workshop will provide an adult public with a look at new technologies, involving them directly in the construction of new digital musical instruments.
