September 2011 - ArgentinaThe Cultural Foundation “Santiago Del Estero”, together with AIESM (International Association for Monumental Sculpture Events) represented by its Manager for Argentina, the Sculptress Lelé Trabb, organized the International Sculpture Symposium “Santiago a Cielo Abierto”, that took place in the city of Santiago del Estero, north of the Argentinian Republic from the 5th to the 15th of September 2011.
The theme of the work was free. The sculpture have been realized in stone.
The organizers selected the 10 following sculptors among national and foreigners artists to participate to the event:
Andrej Mitevski (Macedonia), Baku Inoue (Japan), Evrim Camoglu (Turkey), Francesco Mazzotta (Italia), Jorge de Santiago (Mexico), Adriana Badii (Argentina), Miguel Isla (Spain), Mirta Romero (Argentina), Néstor Vildoza (Argentina), Petre Petrov (Bulgaria).
The organizers gave 8 of the sculptures produced during the Symposium to the Capital City for their public installation promoting in this way the world movement for the Public Art. The event has been broadly publicized at the local and national media, as well as by Internet, with daily news.
The organizers realized banners of the event and colour catalogs with photo of the sculptor and his/her work.
