December 2004 - Costa Rica

The sculptor Edgar Zuniga, manager of A.I.E.S.M. for Costa Rica, has organized, since the 1st to the 12th of December 2004, the First International Symposium of Monumental Sculpture in iron in the city of Alajuela in Coast Rica.
The symposium, patronized by A.I.E.S.M., by the Municipality and by the Committee of Urban Renewal of Alaujela, has seen the participation of 6 international sculptors that have been invited for the realization of monumental works that now belong to the artistic patrimony of the city.
These are the invited artists: Luis Aguilar Castaneda (Mexico) - Ramon Morales Rossi (Venezuela) - Jose Ramon Villa Soberon (Cuba), Francini Bettino (Italy), Juan Carlos Segovia (Sweden), Roberto Alessandria (Italy) and Edgar Zuniga (Costa Rica), promoter of the symposium.
