INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - ISRAEL

An Israeli city invites all artists to participate in the selections for an international stone sculpture symposium to be held between 9 and 28 October 2022.

The organization will provide 2 cubic meters of cut stone, according to the project.

About 10 artists will be selected.

Equipment
1. The sculptors must be equipped with a grinder, cutting discs (suitable for V220), suitable for limestone work, a small pneumatic hammer and personal sculpture tools as each participant deems appropriate and according to his needs.
2. The manufacturer supplies electricity, air and water connections. Periodically, the participating sculptors must have the use of a crane to transfer the stones. The manufacturer will also supply a core drill (150 + 200 + 100 mm), a sandblasting tank, drill bits (22/26/32/38/45 mm) and a stone fission set.
If the artist wishes to incorporate additional materials, he will have to specify this on the proposal.
3. The symposium management does not provide assistants.

Reimbursement of expenses and accommodation
The organization offers accommodation and meals.
All expenses beyond what is indicated, such as the extension of the stay, telephone calls, special transport costs, etc., are the responsibility of the sculptor. The Municipality will pay a reimbursement amount of the participating sculpture of 12000 ILS (US $ according to the daily gate). + 1500 ILS for flight tests + crown.
