AIESM, International Association for Monumental Sculpture Events, promotes the sculpture and the sculptors at international level.

CALL FOR ARTISTS – LATVIA/ESTONIA

A creative project aimed at raising awareness on the problems of consumer waste and on the efficiency of resources in today's society announces a call for artists whose theme is "Reduce, reuse, recycle". The aim of the competition is the creation of 14 selected works of art / projects displayed in 6 different high visibility public places (mostly outdoors) in northern Latvia and southern Estonia.

Project proposals are open to all creative disciplines including visual/sound artists, sculptors, photographers, designers and architects. Projects may be carried out by individuals or small teams from Latvia, Estonia and abroad. The opening date for the first exhibition is currently set for May 1st, 2019. Each opening in a new location will be marked by a public communication event emphasizing the message of the campaign.

Artists carrying out selected projects will be granted an honorarium of 3000€
