EXHIBITION IN VENICE
Bando di partecipazione alla 97ma Collettiva Giovani Artisti
REGOLAMENTO
La Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa bandisce la 97ma Collettiva Giovani Artisti, aperta a tutte le espressioni artistiche. La partecipazione è riservata a giovani residenti o iscritti ad un corso di studi nel Triveneto o che abbiano ivi conseguito un diploma/laurea negli ultimi 7 anni. L'età dei partecipanti, alla scadenza del bando, deve essere compresa tra i 18 e i 35 anni.
Per partecipare alla selezione, gli artisti devono presentare personalmente le proprie opere (tassativamente non più di due) presso la sede della Fondazione, Palazzetto Tito, Dorsoduro 2826, Venezia, nei giorni di giovedì 14, venerdì 15 e sabato 16 novembre 2013 (orario 10.00-18.00). Alla consegna dei lavori i partecipanti devono presentare documenti atti a comprovare la presenza dei requisiti di ammissione.
Le opere possono essere eseguite con qualsiasi tecnica. Tuttavia: le opere pittoriche non devono superare la misura di metri 2,50 x 2,50; le sculture non devono occupare una superficie superiore ai 3 metri cubi; per le installazioni, le opere processuali, le performance e gli interventi site-specific è richiesto un elaborato grafico, che ne ricostruisca le misure, i termini, i mezzi di allestimento, riassumendone il significato, ed è gradito un rendering. Le opere devono portare, a tergo, chiaramente indicati su apposita scheda di notifica, il nome e cognome dell'autore, il titolo dell'opera, l'anno di esecuzione, le misure, la tecnica. La responsabilità della veridicità dei dati è a carico dell'artista dichiarante.
Ogni partecipante deve dichiarare, sotto la propria responsabilità, che le opere presentate non sono state precedentemente esposte in altre mostre collettive o personali. Agli artisti che non risultino già iscritti all'Archivio della Fondazione viene richiesta la consegna di un portfolio, formato A4, con il curriculum vitae e minimo 10 immagini di opere dell'artista. Il portfolio resterà a disposizione dell'Archivio della Fondazione. Gli artisti già iscritti devono aggiornare il loro portfolio con le opere e i progetti più recenti e il curriculum......

NAPOLI FUD
Napoli Fud: per uno spazio commerciale dedicato al cibo napoletano
Oggetto del concorso
La tradizione del cibo napoletano nel mondo, la nostra cultura pasticcera, il caffè. Questi sono i tre elementi che il locale deve comunicare. I partecipanti devono immaginare una nuova concezione di spazio commerciale dove possa essere innanzitutto trasmessa la cultura del cibo napoletano, sia in Italia che all’estero. Nel locale sono previste 3 tipologie di prodotti in vendita: dolce – salato – caffè. Uno spazio di circa 150 mq a disposizione per il pubblico e uno di 50 per servizi (wc clienti, spogliatoi, celle frigo, etc.) un unico ambiente articolato in più zone intorno ad un importante banco vendita che rappresenta la spina dorsale del negozio, un’area con tavoli comuni dove mangiare le bontà napoletane (non è previsto il servizio, personale solo per la pulizia dei tavoli, permanenza stimata per la consumazione di circa 30 minuti). Il locale dovrà avere una forte relazione con la strada attraverso le vetrine che dovranno essere molto comunicative, catturare il passante incuriosendolo e portarlo a vivere questa nuova esperienza del gusto. Il locale deve trasmettere chiaramente il suo legame con la tradizione ma essere proiettato nel contemporaneo, in equilibrio tra retrò e moderno con continui richiami al passato (pasticcerie e forni napoletani di una volta, etc.)
La partecipazione è aperta a tutti i soggetti sotto elencati, ovvero:
Architetti, interior designer, grafici, artisti, studenti delle suddette materie/facoltà che al momento dell’iscrizione al concorso non abbiano compiuto il 35° anno di età.
Il vincitore riceverà un premio di € 1.500,00 e la possibilità di partecipare all’inaugurazione del locale, realizzato sulla base del progetto vincitore, con un viaggio aereo a Londra e soggiorno per 2 persone. In caso di partecipazione in gruppo il premio sarà riscosso dal capogruppo.

PRIZE FOR ARTS – NEW ZEALAND
Deadline: 16th of September 2013
The Trusts & Waitakere Central Community Arts Council organizes the Art & Sculpture Awards 2013.
All work must be original. All work must be signed by the artist and available for sale.
Sculpture may be of any material and may be free-standing. Dimensions must not exceed 2000cm in height and 1500cm in any other direction.
The Sculpture must be of a weight easily handled by two people. Wall mounted sculptures will be accepted – to 5kg maximum weight.
Each artwork must be clearly identified on the back and on a swing tag which must be able to hang over the front of the work.
Include: artist’s name, phone number, title of work, medium and price. Work must be strung -
D rings are essential. Works that do not include these requirements will not be accepted.
Artists will be notified if works have not been selected. Unselected work will be displayed in a separate exhibition area, that will not be open for viewing on Opening Night.

V PREMIO ATLANTE DEL MUSEO DEL GRABADO A LA ESTAMPA DIGITAL DE ARTES
1- Podrán participar todos los artistas nacionales y extranjeros que lo deseen. Las obras deberán estar ejecutadas necesariamente en cualquiera de los sistemas y técnicas tradicionales del arte gráfico (calcografía, xilografía, litografía o serigrafía), que se podrán combinar con aquellas otras técnicas gráficas, incluidos los procedimientos digitales y electrográficos, que considere conveniente el artista.
2- Se admitirán como máximo dos obras por autor. El tamaño del papel será de 38 cm x 28 cm. El artista podrá utilizar las tintas y matrices que estime conveniente para la estampación de los originales.
3- Los grabados serán inéditos y no haber sido editados ni numerados. Los premios otorgados conllevan la edición de las obras premiadas en 25 ejemplares y su entrega a la Fundación Museo de Artes.
4- Se establecen: Premio Ramiro Carregal de grabado de 5.000€, 3 premios dotados con 2.500 € cada uno y un premio especial de 1.400 €, para un artista nacido o residente en la Península del Barbanza y Ría de Arousa. Estos premios estarán sujetos a las retenciones marcadas por la ley.
5- Junto con la obra se adjuntará la siguiente documentación: Datos del autor: nombre y apellidos. / Técnica utilizada. Medida de la plancha/ Breve currículo artístico/ Fotocopia del DNI o pasaporte. / Dirección. Número de teléfono y correo electrónico.
6- Los grabados se enviarán sin enmarcar, convenientemente protegidos a la Fundación Museo de las Artes del Grabado. Lugar de Outeiro. Artes - Riveira. 15969 (A Coruña) España, del 1 de junio al 30 de noviembre del 2013.
7- La Fundación Museo de Artes, se compromete a editar una carpeta con los 5 grabados premiados. Los ganadores, se responsabilizan de estampar, numerar y firmar los 25 ejemplares, más las 2 pruebas de artista; deberán entregar la/s matriz/ces junto a las 25 estampas a la Fundación Museo de Artes. Los 5 artistas galardonados recibirán de la Fundación una carpeta completa con los cinco grabados premiados.
8- Los trabajos seleccionados se expondrán en una de las Salas del Museo de Artes.
9- El jurado estará formado por 5 personalidades del mundo del Arte, y su decisión será inapelable. Y el fallo se emitirá en el mes de diciembre del 2013.
10- La Fundación, velará por la buena conservación de los trabajos recibidos, pero no se responsabiliza por los daños causados durante el envío y devolución de las obras. Los gastos de envío y retorno correrán por cuenta del artista. Si son envíos desde España se podrán enviar los sellos para su devolución.
11- Las obras no retiradas, ni reclamadas en el plazo de 2 meses transcurridos desde la entrega de premios, pasarán a engrosar la colección de Arte Gráfico de la Fundación.
12- Las obras seleccionadas podrán ser vendidas en el transcurso de la exposición, si previamente ha sido indicado por el autor, que percibirá el importe íntegro de la venta. Contactando al artista con el comprador.
13- Protección de Datos. De acuerdo a la LOPD le informamos de que sus datos personales, indicados en el punto 5, serán registrados en los ficheros automatizados o no de Fundartes con la finalidad de gestionar su participación en el concurso. Le informamos que los mismos podrán ser publicados en medios de comunicación escrito y/o digital con la finalidad de dar a conocer a los premiados, en el caso de negarse a dicho tratamiento háganoslo saber. De acuerdo a la LSSI le informamos que podrá recibir información sobre nuestra actividad, eventos y otros a través de medios electrónicos. Vd. podrá ejercer los derechos de acceso, cancelación, rectificación, oposición mediante un escrito adjuntando una copia del DNI a Fundación Museo de Artes del Grabado a la Estampa Digital, en Artes Lugar de Outeiro s/n 15969, Riveira (A Coruña). En el caso de producirse alguna modificación de sus datos, rogamos nos lo comunique con la finalidad de mantener sus datos actualizados.

Object Abuse
A McCormack and Gent curatorial project at Spinach, London
Submissions are sought for an Open Exhibition
Send us a visual interpretation of the term 'Object Abuse' All artwork will be exhibited and artists credited. September 21st to December 15th 2013, @ Spinach: a central London space. A Private View shall take place on the 12th Dec 2013. Contributions will be accepted until the day before the private view. As the artwork comes in over the three-month period, the exhibition will thus expand and we hope it completely takes over the space. Updates on this progress will appear on the website. All contributing artists will be credited and listed on the following websites; www.objectabuse.com and www.spinach.co.uk/artists/
What does Object Abuse look like in the context of visual art? The answer to this question is not so straight forward, but when you put obvious ethical or ecological perspectives to one side, then the possibility for speculation really is limitless. Who is to say the object in question is passive and not active? What really qualifies as abuse (in this context), is it quantifiable and can we envisage it's subtler variations? For that matter, what is an object; or rather can we say what isn't an object.with any real certainty? Isn't everything an object?
Submission details: We request that artworks be submitted as hard copy, so it needs to be sent through the post to the Spinach space (address below). Submissions can also be handed in. We will only accept artwork in a 2D format and it should not exceed an A4 scale. Submissions can take the form of an image, drawing text, collage, a proposal, documentation, etc. Please do not send anything larger than A4, or sculpture, time-based work, etc. Please pack the work well, we cannot take responsibility for any damage or loss in the post. Art works cannot be returned, unless you are able to collect it in person. [from 12th Jan 2014]
Post exhibition, the work will be collated into an ongoing Object Abuse archive. Please write 'Open Exhibition' on your submission + provide us with artist name, email & title of the work.
