Open Call for Exhibition / Project Proposals
Deadline: 19th January 2014
KARST is announcing an international open call to curators, collaborators and artists to submit proposals for exhibition during 2014. We are particularly interested in projects that seek to exhibit challenging and experimental work, engaging with new ideas through critical dialogue and experimentation in contemporary arts practice. Proposals for new works, existing works or touring shows including, events, exchange projects and all multidisciplinary practices will be considered. Selected proposals will be provided with funding towards an exhibition production budget, in addition to installation and administrative support.

Arts Residencies at the Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center
Call for Applications for Arts and Literary Arts Residencies at the Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center Deadline: December 3, 2013 Through residencies and conferences, the Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center in Northern Italy supports innovations that change the way we address complex global issues. Here, people of diverse expertise and backgrounds come together in a thought-provoking, creative, collegial environment that helps create change and have impact on a wide range of world issues.
The Residency Program allows for focused work, uninterrupted by the professional and personal demands of daily life, in a diverse and stimulating community of fellow residents. Residents include an international group of academics, writers, artists, scientists, journalists, non-governmental organization practitioners, and policymakers. In addition to time for dedicated work on individual projects and for reflection during the day, building new connections and collegial interaction with other residents is a defining characteristic of the Bellagio experience. Meals and informal presentations of residents' work afford an opportunity for dynamic discussion and engagement with each other. The combination of quiet time for individual, focused work and connections with such a diverse community is unparalleled.
Academic Writing as well as Arts & Literary Arts residencies typically last four weeks, and spouses/life partners may accompany residents. Practitioner residencies can last between two to four weeks. Joint applications from co-authors are also welcome.
Applications for Academic Writing as well as Arts & Literary Arts residencies are due by December 3, 2013. Applications from practitioners and for conferences are accepted on a rolling basis.

ART RESIDENCY IN ALMORA - INDIA
This is a wonderful opportunity for artists from all over the world to get an exposure in India, as well as learning from Indian traditional art techniques. Workshops are offer for music, dance, visual arts and writers. The deadline is December 5th, the residency will take place in Almora (beautiful Himalayan region), January 10th to February 10th 2014.
PECAH- “Programme of Exchange in Culture and Art of Himalayas” is an opportunity to exchange ideas and skills with the traditional art forms of the Himalayas in Uttrakhand, India. PECAH is dedicated to spreading the radical flavour of Uttarakhand’s art forms. Artists will come to know the vast cultural palate of this regional area and local people will also benefit from this exchange, for “art and artisan have no boundaries”. Interaction and collaboration with the local artist and inspirational aura is the major priority of PECAH.

Marchio/logotipo e payoff per la promozione del territorio del Lazio
Aperte le iscrizioni per partecipare ai due concorsi internazionali, uno per il marchio/logotipo e l’altro per il payoff della promozione del territorio del Lazio. Il 20 dicembre è il termine per la presentazione delle proposte. Il concorso, promosso dalla Regione Lazio, in collaborazione con AIAP (Associazione italiana Design della comunicazione visiva), verrà gestito da LAit S.p.A.
