THE JUUKA STONE CARVING FESTIVAL COMPETITION – FINLAND

A hand and machine sculpture competition is taking place in Finland from July 10 to 12, 2025. Participants are 16 years and older (minors require parental consent). Registration closes on May 15, 2025.

Material: soapstone
Dimensions: hand sculpture 200x200x300 mm – machine sculpture: 300x300x400 mm
Food and accommodation: a registrationfee of €50 which includes the soapstone block for sculpture, accommodation, meals and an event T-shirt.
Travel expenses: participants are responsible for their own travel expenses and any additional accommodation costs if they choose accommodations other than those provided by the organizers.
Honoraria: not foreseen but they can earn through the competition prizes and a percentage of the sales of their works.
