INTERNATIONAL STONE SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM – ROMANIA

A Romanian city organizes an International Stone Sculpture Symposium with the presence of 8 sculptors, during the month of August 1 to 31, 2017.


Materials and equipment
- The sculptures will be performed in Romanian marble, of variable dimensions (approx. 1.5-2 cube meters).
- Each sculptor will be provided with the basic facilities: water, electricity and crane (at most two times a week), but s/he shall use his/her own specific tools for sculpture and finishing.
- The symposium will take place during the established period, irrespective of the weather.

Compensation:
Each sculptor is paid a bounty representing copyright consideration in the amount of 2,500 euros.

Accommodation
Accommodation shall be provided by organisers from August 1, 2017 to August 31, 2017. Meals and transport (to the symposium venue and back) shall be at the expense of the participants.
