INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM – CHINA

A Chinese town invites sculptors for an International Sculpture Symposium. The production and installation of the works will be from June 25 to August 31, 2017.

The sculptures will be exhibited permanently in the public space of the section designated on the River of the city.
This symposium adopts a method of selection in special and public invitation solicitation together, seeking the internationally acclaimed art institutions, schools and universities, and individual sculptors.
The number of works is expected to be 56 (adjustable based on the quality of the work). The sculptors can apply for different themes. the sculptures are encouraged groups.

The selected sculptors will be equipped with:
1. An allowance of RMB 60,000 (the bonus includes the cost of production of the sculpture sample finalized).
2. Certificate of Honor issued by the Changchun government.
3. round-trip economy class airfare, room and board, assistant and interpreter.
