INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - SWITZERLAND

Call for an Interantional Sculpture Symposium in Switzerland, organizes by an art association.The symposium will take place from 10th to 18th June 2017.

Participants
The symposium will be open to individual artists and teams (sculptors). The term includes sculptor-teams, male and female sculptors.

2017 theme: “Fantasy & Reality”
Each sculptor will receive a trunk of larch wood (green) about 4 meters long and 50 cm in diameter, or a block of marble (from Laas) with approximate dimensions of 50x40x100cm (it is possible to have a combination of larch wood and marble).
It is also possible to use other material, however these materials have to be organized and financed by the sculptors themselves and approved by the steering committee.

Working-time for sculptors: Sunday - Saturday 09h00 – 19h00

The organization will provide:
- each sculptor/team (work station) will receive CHF 300.- in cash for out of pocket expenses. The winner of the “Public Award” will receive CHF 500 more.-
- accessibility to camping area and meals from Saturday evening, June 10th until Sunday lunch time, June 18th
- participation in event program
- work material: wood and/or marble
