NEW AIESM CATALOGUE 2016The New AIESM catalogue came out in the month of April 2016 almost ten years after the first. The catalogue is in size cm. 22 x 22, with 84 color pages and written in English. Copies purchased in pre sales have already been sent to contributors. Now begins the distribution of the catalogue in the world.
The volume is composed of several sections: after a brief introduction of our president Bettino Francini, there is a historical summary of who we are and of which our mission is. Then, you can find the greetings from the President Francini in an article available as in English as in Spanish, in order to spread as much as possible the message of art, brotherhood and sharing that we are always carrying out in the world.
The rest of the catalogue is in English, so that all the artists are present in the volume in the same format: by alphabetical order, you will first find the section with managers, then the one dedicated to the members. Finally, an index with photos of the artists and the number of the page.
The last two sections are about the symposia organized also with the support of AIESM until today (a QRcode that will be updated from time to time), and a map showing the extension of AIESM in the world.
Both the graphics and the format have been completely changed compared to the first catalogue in 2007, for logistical issues and to give a fresher look of the contemporary art, which we all belong, as well.
The purpose of this catalogue is basically to be a support for artists who are applying in symposia or events of Sculpture, and have to provide information material for the selection process.
