INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM – SPAIN

An Art Spanish association  announces a contest of monumental public sculpture in order to promote the popular local marble, with the aim of improving the artistic and cultural development in this area.

The symposium will be held October 1 to 7 in 2016.

The competition will be based on the following regulations:
- The competition is open to all artists, national and international.
- The work will be carried out by individuals.
- Every artist can only work on one piece of stone. Therefore, it is allowed to submit only one sculpture in the competition.
- The theme of the works is free.

Organization will provide:
- EUR 600 for each selected artist
- Food, accommodation and reimbursement of travel expenses

The Jury will select 6 sculptors at most to participate in the symposium.
