INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM – IRAN

Tehran Beautification Organization will hold the 8th Tehran International Sculpture Symposium.
Symposium Perspective: Introducing, Establishment and Improvement in Iran sculpture status as a center of sculpture in the area.

This symposium will be held with 20 professional artists, consisting 15 international artists and 5 national artists. Also in peripheral section of this symposium, provides an opportunity for the Iranian sculptural students to gain experience in the art of stone sculpting and to educate stone sculpture techniques. Note: The 8th symposium has determined "Gouhare bright marble" as special material.

Entrance Prize and Reward:
 -For the professional section: 4000 USD
-For the peripheral section: 20,000,000 IRR
- In addition to prize and reward, symposium will donate participant certificate and memorial slate of symposium, for each participant.

Awards:
According to the jury committee decision, symposium will nominate and donate 3 prizes in final ceremony.
Awards will be donated in the following manner:
First prize: 5000USD+ Diploma of Honor
Second prize: 3500USD+ Diploma of Honor
Third prize: 2000 USD + Diploma of Honor
Note: According to the jury committee discretion and decision, one artist will be nominated as a young talented Artist, in the peripheral section.
