INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - UK

An association of sculpture announces the selection for an international sculpture symposium which will take place dal12 to 24 July 2016 in a locality of the United Kingdom.
The Symposium is an opportunity for artist residency during which they will be able to create a completely new sculpture, with the possibility of working together with other artists and discuss their work.

The Symposium will consist of an 11-days residence in which five artists selected (national and international) will realize a sculpture.
Space, materials and strument, plus room and board will be provided by the organization.

The symposium will be organized: discussions between artists, audience members and curators. Evening events include barbecues, visits to pubs, clubs, a presentation to the press and closing party. At the end of the symposium, the sculptures will be part of an annual exhibition.
