INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM – ROMANIA

An International Sculpture Symposium in Andezit is organized by a town in Romania from June 16th to July the 16th 2016.

A total of 11th artists will be participating in the symposium.
The material to be used is local Travertine.
The organization will provide each artist with a maximum of 3 cubic meters, 2 stone (rocks) in total, sized and preformed according to the artist's orders as dimensional specifications. The organisers will provide power and air compressor,2 roto percution hummers. 1 angle grinder 9", 2 big and 2 small diamante discs for each artists. Artists will take their own tools.

The theme of the symposium is free.
The accommodation (motel, double rooms) and food will be provided by the Municipality and sponsors. Extra persons can come on their own expenses.
Travel expenses for all artists will be covered as follows: 200 euros for each foreign artist from Europe (included Russia & Turkey), 500 euros from other countries and local transportations for Romanian artists.
Each artist who has completed his work will be given a total of 1500 euros.
The organization will provide tents and cover roof, water, tee, coffee in the symposium site.
