INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM – BRAZILDeadline: 25th January 2016
The Department of Culture of a Brazilian, and an art Institute,promotes an International Symposium sculptures in marble lasting 20 days and will consist of outdoor work of the participants, where the public can enjoy the whole process of work and dialogue with the sculptors. An exchange and learning space will be promoted.
Maquettes and models of work will be part of the whole presentation of the sculptures.
The symposium will be held from 2nd to 22nd March 2016.
-7 projects will be selected with national and international artists.
- A block of "Marble Corteccia" of size 2.00 x 1.00 x 1.00 mt will be provided.
- The organization will provide 220 volt power, compressed air, tents and structure.
- The work must be designed for a public space and be original and unpublished. The works will remain in the city that hosts the symposium.
- The sculptors will receive accommodation, food. (Drinks are due to the sculptors).
- The seven (07) selected sculptors will be given a cache of R $ 11,000.00 (eleven thousand Reais) and participation certificates.
