INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - ARGENTINADeadline: December 15, 2015
Open call for the a sculpture Symposium in Argentina that will be held in the month of February 2016.
The meeting will last 10 days, and, in this time, participants will work outdoor , interacting with the public. A space for exchange and learning will be promoted. The sculptures are made in Travertine and scrap.
After their completion, the works will become property of the municipality, and they will be located on the Promenade of Sculptures.
All artists can apply.
The projects to be undertaken must meet the following conditions:
- The work must be designed for a public space, original and unpublished.
Each participant will make his work during the working days.
If the sculptor complete the work ahead of schedule, he/she has to remain on the spot until the end og the event.
Free theme.
The artists will be provided with accommodation, food, refreshments and a honorarium for the work.
- The 06 (six) sculptors for travertine marble will receive a cachet of $ 10,000 (ten thousand pesos) each;
The Sculptor of scrap receive a cachet of $ 8,000 (eight thousand pesos) and certificates of participation to all.
- The cost of economy class transportation and accommodation with breakfast, lunch and dinner of artists attending will be covered by the Organizing Committee.
