ART ON THE STREET – USA

An American cultural organization promotes a festival that celebrates the power of art in public places, while turning the streets of the city into a yearlong outdoor sculpture gallery. Event Dates: from June 2016 to May 2017.

12 artists will be selected and within 14th March 2016, and the installation of works will be arranged from May to June 2016. Artists may submit one (1) work per application. Up to three images may be included to represent the work.

For sculpture, artists should consider a suggested minimum dimension of 3 feet, vertical or horizontal, and scaled to outdoor spaces. Artists should consider that their work will be exhibited outdoors and accessible to the public for a period of approximately 11 months.

Entry Fee: 25 USD Artists may submit multiple proposals, through multiple applications, with a discounted application fee of 10USD for every application after the first 25 USD fee. Each selected artist will receive a 1.250 USD honorarium. In addition to this, each artist is offered two nights of complimentary lodging in town.
