INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - IRAN

An Organization for Beautification in Iran holds the an International Sculpture Symposium that will take place from Sep 23, 2015 to Oct 16, 2015.

Symposium is held in two main and student segments:
- Main Segment: The main segment will be held in two sections, stone carving and metal sculptures.
- Student Segment: This segment has been designed only for the fine art sculpture BA students who are experienced in stone carving. Totally 10 students can participate in this segment to make sculptures from travertine stones. This segment is based on educational and operational aims and it will be held none competitively.

Symposium’s Gift to Artists:
The Main Segment of the stone and metal workshops: 3,000 USD
Student Segment: 20,000,000 IRR
A participation license besides the mentioned gift is awarded to all participants.
Awards: For the main segment of stone and metal workshops, four art works (two art works in each workshop) will be selected by the jury which are introduced in final ceremony and are awarded with the following awards:
An honorary diploma and 4,000 USD for the first art work
An honorary diploma and 3,500 USD for the second art work
The audience selected art work: during symposium period, the audience can submit their votes about artworks and in final ceremony the audience selected art work will be elected.
