INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM OF STEEL - ARGENTINA

Two Public Organizations are organizing an International Sculpture Symposium that will take place in Argentina in the month of July 2015. The meeting will last 8 days for the realization of outdoors works made by participants. The public can appreciate all the work process and dialogue with the sculptors. A space for exchange and learning will be encouraged. The sculptures will be made in black Metal steel which can be painted or polished according to the project of the sculptor. After their completion, the works will be located on the promenade of Sculptures.

Regulation:
10 projects will be selected, according to the diversity in both aesthetic proposals and technical procedures.
Provincial, national and international artists can apply to the symposium.

Housing, food and honorary
The artists will be offered lodging, food, refreshments and a honorarium for the realization of the work:
- Foreigners Sculptors receive a cachet of U $ S 1,000 (USD thousand) each
- National Sculptors receive a cachet of $ 7,000 (seven thousand Argentine pesos)
- Provincial Sculptors  $ 5,000 (five thousand dollars) and participation certificates each.

Refunds
Travel expenses in economy class and accommodation will be covered by the Organizing Committee for the participants (organization will not cover anything for extra persons accompanying the artist). For those sculptors who come with their own vehicle will be refund of the travel expense from their starting point to the town of Corzuela.
The Work shall be greater than 2 meters.
