CURATORIAL PROJECT FOR LATIN AMERICAN COMMUNITY - BRAZILDeadline: April 5, 2015An intergovernmental initiative for cultural cooperation in the area of museums throughout the Latin American community (Andorra, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador, Spain, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua , Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela) launched a third Call for a Curatorial Project.
The Program invites cultural institutions of the 22 Latin American to submit exhibition projects carried out in collaboration between two or more institutions of different nations and promoting intercultural dialogue encouraging countries.
To participate, the institutions should be part of the Latin American Community, should have cultural, educational nature, and they should be linked to the government (provincial, regional or national), or private nonprofit institutions. Projects must be submitted by one institution member of the Intergovernmental Committee for Programme.
AWARDS
Two exhibition projects will be awarded with the value of US $ 40,000.00 each. The awards will go to the full or partial funding of exhibition projects for circulating collections / exhibitions among museum institutions or for the exchange of exhibitions between Latin American institutions.
The funds will be transferred to the proposing institution in two installments:
a) The first to produce and / or readjustment of the exhibition project;
b) The second for assembly, and where applicable, the traveling exhibition.
