ART CONTEST – ITALY

Call for the creation of an exhibition of sculptures, pictures and paintings in a small Italian town.

Participation
The contest is open to creative artists of all nationalities, of both sexes and of all ages (as long as over 18 years old), working in the disciplines of fine art, sculpture, installations (multimedia, lighting, video, etc.), architecture, video art, illustration, graphic art, land art, applied art and electronic art.

Subject and theme of the competition
The competition involves the design of installations to be carried out in the historic centre of the town and specifically in the six exhibition sites identified by the organization. These installations will be carried out in complete freedom of style and technique, as long as they made respecting of the content in this call.

The works submitted must be original and unpublished, developed specifically for this competition.
Noncompliance with these requirements will result in exclusion from the competition or, if the non-compliance should be established at a later date, the cancellation - at the discretion of the selection committee - of the awards granted (with obligation to repay the amount perceived).

The installations may include the use of electricity, which, as far as possible, will be provided by the organization. Despite being continually present in the spaces used for in the exhibition, the organization does not guarantee the service of custody; the organization is therefore not liable for any damage to installations whatever the cause.

Realization of works, expenses, participation in the final event
The selected works shall be carried out corresponding in every aspect to the project presented and evaluated. Any changes must be agreed with the organization; if not the organization can decide to exclude the work from the competition. The authors of the winning works shall be awarded a lump sum for expenses of Euro 300.00 for traveling expenses, accommodation and direct costs incurred for the realization of the installation. This reimbursement shall be paid after the installation. For each winning work there will also be offered a two-night stay for two people in a tourist accommodation.
