PRIZE FOR CONTEMPORARY ART - ITALY

Deadline: April 18, 2015

Call for a prize of contemporary art to be held in June-July 2015 in Italy. Application fee: 50 euros for 1 work, and Euro 40 for each following work. Artists can nominate more works in the same section or in five different sections. Each work requires filling a new registration form. The registration fee is non-refundable.

The competition is open to all contemporary artists of all nationalities. There are no age limits and thematic constraints. Basic selection criteria will be the quality, research, originality and the contemporaneity of the work . The sections are:

- Painting
- Graphics- works on paper
- Photography
- Sculpture and Installation
- Video

AWARDS
Prizes will be as follows:
1 prize of EUR 6,000 (six thousand) for the sections Painting and Photography (each one)
1 prize of EUR 4,000 (four thousand) for the sections Graphics, Sculpture and Installation, Video
Special Award - Artist Residency of 45 days in Florence *
Special prize for artists under 35 - Artist Residency of two months in Berlin *
Special prize for artists under 35 - Artist Residency of two months in Livorno *
Popular Jury Award (best artist voted by visitors to the exhibition) Euro 500 (five hundred) *
