INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM - FINLAND

Call for an International Sculpture Symposium, to be held in Finland, in August 2015.

Materials
Very old pine wood , log diameter 35-50 cm, lenght 200-400 cm, can be used more  than one, also timber wood , steel plates and bars , stone ( from nature )

Theme
Arctic / Nordic Harmony , sculpture - abstract , realistic , installation , land art
 Sculpture you propose must be new – not show before in other place. It must show the theme.

Travel
The organization pays travel cost as it follows:
- 500 euro for travels from Europe;
- 800 euro for travels from Asia and overseas countries.
The nearest airport is in Ivalo

Accommodation
The organization will provide accommodation ( log houses ) and meals.

Tools
Artists should bring their own tools. Organization can put at artists’ disposal some chain saws and small grinders and welding machine. Also technical and lifting help. Electric power in 220 V
