INTERNATIONAL ARTIST RESIDENCY PROGRAM - LUXEMBOURG

An organization from Luxembourg promotes the exchange between art and the public through residency programs and invites international artists from all artistic practices to submit their applications.The project proposes six residences for a period ranging from three to nine months.

The aim of the program is to make artists show the public the various aspects of their practices, and that the product of their stay takes shape in order to be accessible to the public between August and December 2016. The production of temporary works, such as performance, will also be encouraged. The residencies will be documented and disseminated through conferences, seminars, publications (print or online updates) and movies.

The Residences
Six artist residencies will be awarded to artists of all nationalities.
The residences will be held from September 2015 to August 2016.
- 2 artist residency cheques for a three months stay of € 14,000
- 2 artist residency cheques for a six months stay of € 28,000
- 2 artist residency cheques for a nine months stay of  € 42,000

A significant budget for the production of works will also be available. It will be based on the techniques used and the extent of the proposed work.
The artist will have a workshop and accommodation up to a maximum monthly rent of € 1,000.

Six artists will be selected for residences.
